New Forest 2024

The first weekend in November 2024 saw the squad travel to the New Forest for a weekend training session, alongside members of the East Midlands Junior Orienteering Squad.  Minstead Study Centre provided a relaxing base offering close encounters with the free roaming New Forest ponies.

The Saturday was spent practising direction and attack point skills.  On Sunday, the squad took part in Southampton Orienteering Club's November Classic, the UK's longest running annual club orienteering event.
